Course Description: Students will gain more awareness of the legal system and its objective to regulate social relations and to use interdisciplinary approaches to solve legal problems. They will be able to use different legal texts and documentations, constitutional values and principles to interpret laws, and legal oratories. This course encourages the use of sociological approaches to interpret laws, and the expansion of a legal vocabulary and ethical values. Students will be able to analyze legal issues from a philosophical perspective. The lessons in this course will cover law as a social and cultural phenomenon and as a form of social organization, law production, law and force, interpretation and implementation of law, law and other normative systems, the legal norm, the legal system, and the concept of law.
