Students who wish to improve their general English ability with a special focus on the medium of writing.
This is an enjoyable 3 credit class which will allow you to develop your writing ability so that you can share what you have written with others and in that process expand your vocabulary and grammatical ability. Students will also regularly talk about what they have written with the professor and in small groups. You will quickly become skilled at spotting and correcting errors and develop your ability in many different writing styles and especially formal and academic register.
