This course provides a broad, holistic interdisciplinary framework for considering the key concepts and issues in the understanding of human behaviour at the individual, group, organisational, community and societal levels. It serves as an introduction to the degree by providing an overall theoretical and problem-oriented framework which can serve as an integrative foundation for later studies which focus on working in the human services. The course focuses on the following central question: what approaches and perspectives can be taken to understand the range of human behaviour.
