This course examines global history from 1900’s to the present, addressing key themes and trends in the political, cultural,
social, and intellectual landscapes of the period. While emphasis will be on interpreting the century’s historical trajectories,
the course will also seek to historicize globalization, evaluate the concepts of globality and transnationalism, and study
critical responses to globalization. (3 credits)
