The course deals with themes of sustainability in society with local and global examples. The course content consists of the United Nations global goals for sustainable development, and the academic discussion around them, especially regarding the social dimensions of sustainability. The course places particular emphasis on promoting understanding of practices, own approaches, and activities in relation to the issues being addressed. The course develops working life skills in issues and activities around social sustainability.
