Understanding the politics of the environment and sustainability has never been more important. In the context of global climate and environmental change, this course explores issues at the forefront of today's political agenda. This course examines the politics and power relations of environmental sustainability in Australia and globally. It investigates the business-government-environment relationship, asks whether we can 'green' politics, and explores the role of major actors and ideas in shaping politics including NGOs, social movements, and the international community.
