Course Description: Analysis of local and national socio-political contexts to identify appropriate Indigenous community development strategies. Apply the Indigenous Terms of Reference and Community Development Principles frameworks to determine "the goodness of fit" of the evaluation research project. Students will demonstrate the use of culturally appropriate methods to engage Indigenous community members in evaluation processes, and apply research principles through observational and participatory fieldwork practices. Engagement with development groups will enable peer review of ways of working.
