By completing this course, students will acquire a good basic knowledge of the nature and characteristics of urban and cultural history. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to identify the broader social contexts of culture and the main lines of urban development.
The course deals with the nature of urban and cultural history. The course will consider a wide range of cultural expressions and specific issues in urban history, such as the historical relations between rural and urban areas.
