Course Description:
This class has 3 components:
1. Acquire knowledge of the histories and development of museums, internationally and in Belgium; understand the relationships between music, theatre, and performance and the museum.
2. Gain an understanding of Flemish art policy and work in a group to create an art policy funding application.
3. Learn from people in the field: interact with people who work in the contemporary museum field.
Exchange students may take up this course unit, for which no prior knowledge of Dutch is required.
