Course Description: Colonisation is one of the more pervasive and enduring systems of power, knowledge, domination and subjugation informing contemporary Politics and International Relations. This course encourages you to reflect upon and critically interrogate the ways in which processes of colonisation and de-colonisation affect contemporary politics, resistance, transition, justice, the global order and localised and global challenges. In this course you will learn about the core theories, concepts and methods used in research on (post) colonialism and apply this knowledge to real world cases.
