Course Description:
This course is designed for healthcare personnel with a broad knowledge of Spanish and who need to improve their language proficiency to interact with Spanish-speaking patients and their respective families. This course answers the question: How to ensure that the student can communicate in a clear, fluent, structured, and logical way, to achieve effective communication with a Spanish-speaking patient and their families? To answer this question, the following knowledge will be studied: Interrogative pronouns, past perfect simple, Imperfect Past, past perfect compound, Present subjunctive, Imperfect subjunctive, past perfect compound subjunctive past pluperfect subjunctive The course is practical with constant capsules of grammatical information and extensive medical terminology so that the student acquires tools to communicate orally and in writing with a Spanish-speaking patient, manages to complete the identification form, take vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, weight, and measure) inquire about the symptoms and give recommendations.
