Course Description: This course will introduce students to the key political, social and cultural events, people, and issues that helped shape Australian history. The changes and continuities in Australian history will be explored, allowing students to develop an ability to understand and critique different perspectives on the history of Australia. This course will help students to conceptualise as well as analyse the origins, narrative and impact of events in Australian history. Prerequisites: NIL; Co-requisites: NIL; Incompatible: 2063EDN Australian Studies; 2101ART / 2101HUM Australia and the World; AUS21 Australia and the World (OUA Course Equivalent).
