The aim is to go beyond a focus on theoretical debates by providing a comprehensive introduction to the way world politics can be studies on the basis of a more historically conscious and conceptually solid perspective. By interweaving relevant history-pertinent and concepts-focused approaches, the course ais to present the students with a well-developed basic knowledge for further studies in IR.
