This course introduces the emerging research field of neurocriminology, which integrates the disciplines of neuroscience, biology, psychology and criminology to understand criminal behaviour. Contemporary and cutting-edge findings from neurocriminology research will provide insight into how criminal behaviour can be influenced by brain structures and functioning, biochemical abnormalities, genetics and psychophysiology.
