Course Description (Eng) This course examines theories, issues, matters, and problems related to the world communication. The world communication in the period of new media such as internet, SNS and world satellite broadcasting is more important and more effective than other age.
The course is composes of four parts. First, this course focuses on history, theories, systems, and major actors of international communication.
Second, development communication, NWICO(New World Information and Communication Order), cultural imperialism and so on is examined.
Third, intercultural communication.
Finally, it will deal with cultural, political and social issues related to new media such as internet, SNS and world satellite broadcasting in terms of world communication perspective
