Course Description:
This course will help students to understand the codes of French society and give them the linguistic tools to participate in student and everyday life in France. This requires very active participation on their part. The aim is to master the basic structures of French, encourage autonomy in everyday situations, acquire behaviour and know-how and adopt intercultural reflexes. Students will work on all the skills required (oral and written work, oral and written comprehension, interaction) using authentic documents of various types (audio documents, videos, articles, dialogues, etc.). The class will be based on communication exercises and simulations to develop oral interaction. This work will be supported by grammar and phonetics exercises in context.
