Students will examine the influences of other literary traditions as these have shaped the development of decolonial literature/s in English.
Students explore the influence of colonisation in relation to literatures in English and how this has shaped subsequent postcolonial and decolonial literary texts in English, primarily in Australia and the Global South, but also in other places in which the effects of colonisation may be traced in literary texts.
