Course Description:
How can "images" in general, such as photographs, live-action films, animation, and video art, be art? We will discuss this point in class with the students. The goal is for each student to come to some kind of
conclusion regarding that question.
Please try to watch the movies and other works that will be covered in class on YouTube or other video distribution sites. In addition, it is advisable to go to the cinema and watch a lot of current movies.
The standard study time outside of class hours, such as preparation and review for this class, is 4 hours.
All four class assignments (40%) and two total reports (60%) are scored to give a perfect score of 100, and a score of 60 or above is considered passing. Evaluate comprehensively.
