In the first part, the course describes banks and financial intermediaries, and the risks to which they are exposed. In the second part, the course presents how banks and financial intermediaries deal with those risks, and the role of regulation. In the last part, the course discusses money and monetary policy, with a particular focus on monetary policy transmission through banks, and decentralized finance.
