Course Description: This course will explore international financial management from a business perspective. In Part I, the course outline will give you foundations of the global financial environments that the manager in the multinational corporations have encountered, such as the economic developments, monetary systems, and balance of payments statistics. In Part II, you will explore the role of international price, which is the exchange rate, to how the effective manager uses to make a sound judgment for the firm’s objective at the global markets. Part III will explore the risk management of transaction, economic, and translation exposures. Part IV, you will gain a deeper understanding of world financial markets and institutions. The included topics are money, bond, and equity markets, which are essential tools for financing multinational corporations. Part V, the techniques of financial management of the multinational firm to finance business projects.
