The main objectives of the course are to:
• Review and discuss several topics in the area of cognitive psychology such as
perception and attention, memory, language and problem solving.
• Examine some fundamental issues regarding the theories of the mind and new
methodologies to study cognition
• Apply what they learn in their everyday life (to improve memory for recent events,
problem solving, performance in college, etc).
