Course Description:
This course examines the diversity of plants in the landscape and gives students further experience in plant identification. It considers the major structural components of the flora of regional ecosystems and the factors which determine the distribution of plants. There are sections dealing with plant diversity, ecology, plant-animal interactions and biomes as biological indicators. Practical work includes fieldwork and assessment is by reports, written and practical examination.
