After completing the course, students will be able to identify how gender is linked with various social conventions and how it structuralises societal activities. They will have basic familiarity with the concepts, various trends and research findings of social gender studies. Students will become proficient in applying their learning to various topics and evaluating the significance and impact of gender in various sectors of society. They will be able to continue their studies in the field by completing special intermediate or master’s level courses in gender studies
