In this unit using a developmental psychology framework, students examine human development from a lifespan perspective. The course of development from conception to old age is explored with reference to both psychological theories and research. The unit covers the major psychological theories, methods, research and applications related to human cognitive (e.g. thinking, theory of mind), social (e.g. peers), emotional and physical development across the lifespan.
