The purpose of MATH 115 is to present mathematical skills and concepts and to apply them to ideas that are important to students in the management, life, and social sciences. Differentiation, Integration etc. are some of the topics that will be presented in this module and then applied to optimization problems (Business and Science), rates of change problems and other applications. The module will be text oriented and intents to help students to develop their critical thinking and problem solving ability. Students are expected to have read assignments prior to class attendance. Upon completion of this module, it is the aim and hope of the mathematics faculty that students who work hard and apply themselves will be able to: 1.
