Course Description: On successful completion of this course, students should be able to: 1) develop a basic knowledge of the culture of ancient Greece 2) evaluate the impact of social, political and cultural changes in ancient Greece 3) trace various aspects of ancient Greeks’ private and public life 4) structure, develop and defend complex arguments 5) investigate in depth a selected issue and produce a substantial commentary upon it To measure progress toward fulfillment of these outcomes, students will be required to complete the following assessments:
