This intermediate level unit further develops students' understanding of a variety of topics in microeconomics such as utility and preference, consumer choice, applications and extensions of consumer choice theory, production and cost, the firm and the industry, market structure, game theory, factor markets and distribution of income and market failure. Emphasis is placed (where possible) on the application and analysis of theory to real world issues/problems.
