Course Description:
The CS101 module aims to provide build the competencies required for full participation in an information society, including
knowledge, skills, and behaviors involving the effective use of digital devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, and
desktop PCs for purposes of communication, expression, collaboration and advocacy. Both theoretical and practical skills
will be developed by students, including analytical skills, critical judgment of the quality, availability and reliability of
information, reading and understanding charts, task planning and time organization, data processing and presentation, as
well as telecommunication facilitation. Ultimately, the module aims at instructing students to develop autonomy as
sophisticated computer users, advancing beyond basic computing skills.
