This module will develop the students’ understanding and knowledge of human development
across the lifespan with the focus on the period of prenatal period, early childhood, and school
age children. The goal for the students is to understand and explain major human
developmental theories, to explore the continuity and change in a person’s life, to appreciate
the biopsychosocial approach in human development, and become developmentally sensitive
in their professional practice.
