Course Description: The lecture introduces basic problems, forms of argumentation and theoretical approaches to a business ethics. It examines the chances of realizing moral norms and demands in the field of tension between economics and ethics. The central concern is the analysis of ethical decision-making processes in companies against the background of a differentiated analysis of action situations and action strategies as well as the basics of an action ethic. The topics should include reputation, trust and social capital as well as the problems of corruption, environmental protection and questions of global ethics concepts. The conclusion is a critical presentation of the various research approaches in the corporate ethics debate.
