Course Description:
Students obtain an overview of how different financial markets work and
their effect on the banking business. This module also deals with the
influence of structural changes in the banking sector and the significance
of these changes in the regulatory environment on the banking business.
The way in which monetary policy functions is also discussed, in
particular its impact on the banking sector and various financial markets.
Active participation in the lesson is a performance criterion although
attendance is not compulsory.
