The main objectives of the course are to:
• Provide students with the basic knowledge on ethical theories and ethical decision
making.
• Make students aware of moral issues in the context of science, the society and the
environment.
• Use case studies to discuss the ethical questions raised in the clinical, health care
and research settings.
• Make students aware of the law and policies, which govern bioethical decisions.
