Students will also develop their knowledge about the equivalent in the United States, both at the national level, as well as the sub-national level under Trump (through a multi-level framework). This will include a nuanced understanding of role non-state actors as building blocks of the climate regime. Students will also acquire useful comparative insights through contrasting transatlantic US/EU perspectives, as well as comparisons with other major powers such as China.
