Course Description:
This course is for the students who have no knowledge of Japanese language. Chapters 1 to 7 of the textbook “Genki I” will be covered in this semester. Through a variety of classroom activities， students will learn how to express their own ideas and to use the language creatively both orally and in writing. Instruction will focus on the development of all four skills (listening，speaking，reading and writing) as well as background cultural knowledge.
