Course Description:
We read the book entitled "Quantum Physics of Atoms, Molecules, Solids, Nuclei, and Particles" in turn and give presentations for explanation of the contents of the chapters in the book. Students are expected to prepare presentations for classes in turn. There are frequent problems expected for the students to solve in classes or at home.
Understand the structure and dynamics of atoms, molecules and condensed matter from the viewpoint of conventional quantum mechanics. Also, understand the theoretical structure of quantum mechanics for solving simple problems on microscopic objects.
