Course Description:
The course primarily deals with literature, but also with films, computer games and other forms of media that portray Harry Potter, as well as terminology used within
comparative literature, especially that which is used within the field of children’s
literature. In addition, the course deals with how children’s literature and literature for
young people after the Second World War developed from different historical,
pedagogical and literary conditions. The course also includes closer examination of a
number of texts. Participation in seminar discussions is compulsory.
