Like human, movie has its own history, also its own language. This course discusses phenomena throughout the world’s film history from the occurrence of movies to the modern era, and briefly examines the development of various films by country, trend, and genre. In addition, we will examine the unique language systems and methods of film, in other words, filming technology and film symbols and symbol systems.
