Course Description: Course Objective This course is part of the Faculty Programme Social Sciences for Society. The course complements Diversity 1, and aims to enable students to conduct theoretical analysis and to apply theoretical knowledge to concrete issues. Students who have successfully completed the course Diversity 2 will have achieved the following learning outcomes: 1. Recognize the most important theoretical developments on diversity, in/exclusion and policy interventions 2. Analyze and explain why diversity problems are difficult to solve, that interventions can cause new problems or that certain issues are deeply intertwined with society – in other words, diversity problems are wicked problems. 3.
