After a specific introduction to the actual progress made in the last three decades to foster inter-religious dialogue at different levels, a particular and current social moral topic will be chosen every year. This year (2020-2021) we will focus on how the main religious communities, referring to their sacred texts, develop a political concept of human dignity, especially in reference to those who are in need, and the following impact this has on the social and political actions of their followers. The course will be entitled: Suffering: between fault and care. In different lectures, the specific point of view of the three great monotheisms and of the Hindu and Buddhist traditions will be explained and discussed.
