This course provides students with a fundamental knowledge of International Organization, with a focus on the United Nations (UN). This course is divided into three main parts; peace and security, human rights, and development, which are the three founding pillars of the UN. Students will consider the role of different actors, including state governments, international staff, and other non-state actors such as NGOs and experts in the three fields.
