This course aims to explore the relationships between gender and migration.
Students will be introduced to key concepts in gender theory and they will
develop an understanding of how such contributions have been applied to
the field of international migration. The core literature will draw on feminist
and critical migration scholarship across several disciplines. The aim is to
provide an interdisciplinary framework of teaching and learning. Each week
students will review empirical studies on the assigned topic for class
discussion.
