Course Description: "What has made psychology what it is today? From basic questions of psychology, such as Is it possible to determine the personality of an individual? How do we perceive color? How does memory work? Are there instincts in humans? How is formed the unconscious ? The Introduction to Psychology course will explore the main concepts and theories of psychology from the recognition of historical moments of its conformation as science. By studying the ideas of the main ancient philosophers, important moments of humanity, and the effectiveness of the various methods of study and treatment of mental disorders throughout history, students will be able to analyze the principles of psychology and determine its applicability in the current context."
