This course aims to survey information system technology with an emphasis on the development of computer-based information systems (CBIS). Major topics include: impact of CBIS on management, elements of system development life cycle, data management, transaction processing system, decision support systems, expert systems, and information resources management, etc. Important issues in e-Business such as information technology, security, marketing, finance, and multi-national trade, and practical operation will be discussed.
