When learning to learn, there are important things to know and there are things to do! And so that you’ll understand how important this is, I’m going to discuss with you some important elements of our daily lives as learners. First let me give you the bad news. But then we’ll see that neuroscience opens unexpected doors that allow us to truly train our learning ability. You already know the first bit of bad news, you’ve had a hunch about it: the educational system is no longer suitable. Our schools and educational institutions were organised almost two centuries ago. They were set up to meet the needs of industry, the low education level of the population and the economic constraints of the time.
