The main objectives of the course are to:
• Instruct students of painting on methods and techniques used in Fine Art traditions.
• Provide students with an understanding of the evolution of Painting
• Build their knowledge of both early art and contemporary
• Introduce them to the invention of various techniques and to the history of painting up to the
19th century.
• Identify for them the basic principles of Painting combining different methods.
• Prepare them to assess the requirements of a project brief, research, plan and implement it.
