Course Description: On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: - To be able to speak and write accurately about the language topics covered during the semester at A2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) - To be able to recall and accurately deploy the grammatical structures required by level A2 of the CEFR. - To be able to accurately express oneself in spoken Italian on the topics studied during the semester, and to be able to engage in conversation with others about those topics using relevant grammatical structures in accordance with the requirements of the A2 level of the CEFR. - To be able to grasp the meaning of and extract relevant information from Italian language material both written and spoken, and of a level representative of A2 of the CEFR.
