The main objectives of the course are to:
• to develop further skills in editing acquired from basic level production courses
• to apply concepts and techniques of video and film production, shot composition and
editing workshops
• to introduce the students to the making of several television genres i.e.: a commercial,
a Public Service Announcement, documentaries, music videos and short films
• teaching the students how to handle editing and simple compositing software
• Guide the students on how to transform their ideas into audiovisual messages
effectively, going through all stages starting from the original idea to the finalized
project.
