In this seminar, students explore a real-life case, driven by a (quantitative) analysis of a spatial question. The seminar builds on insights from related major courses in urban and transport economics, and port economics. The seminar first develops a location choice framework, which students apply to their specific question. An introduction to working with and visualizing spatial data is part of the course.
