Course Description:
This seminar covers several topics on interest rates and stock markets.
In particular, we discuss term structure of interest rates, interest rates modeling, cross-sectional stock returns, investor recognition hypothesis and financial crisis.
Students are expected to study and present the literature from renowned academic journals, lead and participate in group discussions. There are two assignments on empirical asset pricing.
In addition, you will present your own ideas and write a research proposal.
