This is a course on social development as an agenda of the global community. The concept and scope of social development has evolved over the last 30 years and has resulted in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The purpose of this course is to deepen the understanding of the theory and practice behind each of the goals of the SDGs. Upon completion of the course, students are expected to:
1) have basic knowledge of each goal;
2) understand relationships between goals; and
3) obtain overall picture of SDGs.
